I wanted to take just a minute to congratulate my wife, Elizabeth, on kicking off her hair salon business. She has opened up shop inside of the Carla Ciolli Hair Studio on East Walnut Street in Columbia, MO. She will offer cut and style, color, balayage, ombre, curling, straightening and other services for women, men and kids. She is a gifted artist who has done visual arts like painting and drawing, performing arts like piano playing, dancing and choral singing, and she has been an art educator and early childhood educator. I am excited to see her express her artistic expertise by making hair into art for people. I know she will make a lot of people feel beautiful and feel good about themselves.
